Bonus Episode: Let’s Play “How May I Yelp?”

This week we’re passing the time by inviting friends of the show to play some Mad Chatter games. Not all theme park restaurants are created equal. One of the biggest mistakes first-time guests can make when visiting a Disney park is to stop and eat at the first place they see because they assume every restaurant will serve the same cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. Walt Disney World actually has a large variety of counter-service options, and many of them are quite good. On this week’s show, we count down our 15 favorites across property.

197: A Star Is Born – 11 Times Alan Menken Made Disney Magic

Back in 1989, composer Alan Menken made his Disney debut with the majestic score and the memorable songs featured in The Little Mermaid. The film not only launched the famous Disney Renaissance of the 1990s, but it also marked the start of a beautiful partnership between Disney and Menken, who ended up creating music for classics such as Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, and more.

But that doesn’t mean they are the only things worth experiencing on a Disney vacation. This week we list some of our favorite attractions, restaurants, and other experiences that don’t quite get the attention we think they deserve.
